It can be used on a range of surfaces such as concrete, cement mortar, polyurethane foam, bridges, planters, etc. SURFACE PREPARATION Thorough surface preparation is essential to ensure good adhesion. The surface must be dry and free of dust, loose materials, mold. Oils and chemicals should be cleaned with a special detergent. If you have washed the surface, make sure it is thoroughly dry before application. If applying on fresh concrete, make sure that 28 days have passed before application. It is recommended to prime the surface in order to ensure better adhesion. Epoxy primerKTISEPOX HYDRO PR is recommended. After applying the primer, wait one day before applying ANYDRON 2K. Applying ANYDRON 2K The contents of container B must be emptied into container A. The material must be mixed with a stirrer and must last for at least 2-3 minutes at 300 rpm. “Rough” mixing is often the reason why the material does not harden properly, and remains soft and sticky after application. It is recommended to dilute the material with polyurethane solvent up to 5-10%. The product can be applied either by brush or roller in two coats . The estimated consumption is 500-600 gr/m2 per coat depending on the absorbency of the surface. The second coat can be applied after 24 hours. Allow a total of 3 consecutive days to complete the application. If it rains in the meantime, you can continue after the surface has dried. Application Instructions Meticulous surface preparation is required to ensure the best possible adhesion. The substrate must be sanded by mechanical means such as a diamond grinder, mosaic machine, etc. The surface must be dry, clean and free of loose materials before priming. If there are oils or other chemicals, they must be removed by additional sanding or by using a special cleaner. When applying to fresh concrete, ensure that the concrete is at least 28 days old before priming and coating with KTISEPOX. PRIMER The surface should be primed with KTISEPOX HYDRO PR before applying KTISEPOX. If rapid absorption of the primer is observed, it is recommended to repeat the process in the specific areas. The KTISEPOX epoxy paint can be applied once the primer has dried. The drying time of the primer depends on the environmental conditions as well as the substrate (3-12 hours). Crack and joint filling Cracks and holes should be repaired with KTISODUR G epoxy putty and allowed to dry for at least 12 hours. Before applying KTISEPOX, the putty surface should be sanded and cleaned. Preparation KTISEPOX Empty the contents of container B into container A and mix with an electric mixer. The material should be mixed with a stirrer and should last for at least 1-2 minutes at 300 rpm. “Rough” mixing is often the reason why the material does not harden properly and remains soft after application. Applying KTISEPOX The application of epoxy paint is done either by roller, squeegee or airless gun. The expected consumption is 250 gr/m2 per layer for roller, and 500 gr/m2 with airless. The second layer can be applied 18-24 hours after the first layer. It is always recommended to apply at least two coats of the material. A thinner may be added to make the application of the material easier. The addition of thinner should not exceed 10% (by weight) otherwise there is a risk of discoloration and a reduction in the strength of the floor. Performance - Material Consumption The consumption per hand is approximately 250gr/m2 which means that 1 kilo of Ktisepox yields approximately 4 sq.m. The 15 kg package yields up to 60 sq.m (for one hand) It is recommended to add a 5% solvent to achieve this consumption.
